Cornwall Wedding Photographer

Unposed, Natural, Relaxed Professional Photography

Hey! I'm Steven. I am a Cornwall Wedding Photographer. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to create a whole story that documents your most important day in the most natural and beautiful way possible. Working on all that the pictures are captured for forever. I will always look to capture your special day naturally and organically, documenting the fun, laughter and happiness as and how it occurs. I cover set up, love, photographs of your big day directing you or your guests. I follow the narrative of the day and capture all of the magical moments.

A Little Bit About Me

I love being a wedding photographer in Cornwall. I've been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. Photography has always been a huge passion of mine ever since I was a child.

I grew up in Cornwall but have enjoyed travelling the world as much as possible since my early 20s. Not only do I love photographing weddings in Cornwall, I've never been lucky enough to capture couples special days all over the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

Rustic Fall Wedding Ideas to Fall For

One of the dreamiest times of year is to get married in the fall, partly because there’s a plethora of rustic fall wedding ideas when it comes to creating your dream look. Autumn weddings are perfect for creating a wedding with vibrant colors and cozy ambience. Some details that help to make your fall wedding stand out are the tapestry of colors across the landscape including rich reds, oranges, and yellows. The woodland area is enchanting and offers windows to the rolling greens beyond, providing a beautiful backdrop for any garden wedding with its natural beauty.

Incorporate More Color and Texture with Mismatched Attire

Consider leaning into warm tones for fall season, but you can also embrace other palettes. The beautiful mustard and burgundy tones, the totally cool flowers and the woodland setting create a stunning effect. You can also incorporate mismatched dresses or suits, which is an easy way to make the cost more approachable for your wedding party. For a specific look, we dressed the bride in a lace topped dress with a loose skirt and the groom in daring all black with a hint of velvet in the jacket. The groom’s dark suit was accented with a burgundy bow tie and a rustic boutonnière.

Elevate Your Celebration with Exceptional Bar Services

A cozy hot toddy or fruity sangria can really make a fall wedding! This is a real opportunity for you to personalize the experience with your own rustic fall wedding drink ideas. Below is a selection of seasonal beverages to inspire your menu:

Drink Idea Key Ingredients / Notes
Hot Toddy Paired with your liquor of choice
Pear and Apple Sangria A fruity and seasonal twist
Apple Cider Floats Scoop vanilla ice cream into apple cider (great for the kids)
Apple Cranberry Moscow Mule Put your own spin on it with favorite fall flavors
Hot Bourbon Cider A warm and cozy classic

Additionally, a converted tuk tuk which serves Prosecco with the option to jazz it up with various flavours can be a fun addition. For those of us who aren’t a fan of bubbles to celebrate, they also offer beer and coffee.

Rustic Decor and Floral Accents

Greet guests with handcrafted wooden signs adorned with fall florals, greenery, and/or fall foliage. Lace can be done in a high end way for your decor – consider lace-edged napkins, lace overlays on tables, or incorporating just a little lace into your wedding dress. To maintain a higher end look, avoid including burlap in your decor when you use lace.

For the ceremony, you might consider a gazebo frame used as an altar, decorated asymmetrically with dried and fresh flowers to add volume as well as pops of pink and burgundy colour contrast to the wood. The bouquet can feature flowers ranging in tones as well as a mixture of fresh and dried, tied together with a long golden velvet ribbon.

The Ultimate Rustic Fall Wedding Feel: Glowy Warm Lighting

Use vintage lanterns filled with candles to create warm, ambient lighting throughout your party spaces. Layering candles on tables, such as short chunky candles with tall thin ones, can also create a cozy, almost bookish effect for your centerpieces. Consider draping string lights or Edison bulbs across either a barn’s interior or around the outdoor space. Small potted arrangements with intermingled candles on a rustic table can create the dark luxurious table of our dreams.

Engagement and Couple Photographer Cornwall

As well as being a wedding photographer in Cornwall I am also a professional couple and engagement photoshoots. I love photographing love! In which I do love having photographed couples for the last 15 years in Cornwall and the rest of the world.

Whether you are a new couple or have been married for 50+ years, a professional couple is a wonderful gift. I have photographed couples of many stages of their relationship.

I always make sure the photoshoots are relaxed, unposed, and fun. Not many people enjoy having their photos taken, including me, which is why I make sure that you are both relaxed and happy during the shoot.

Engagement photoshoots are a great way to get used to the camera before your wedding and are offered as part of my wedding photography.
