Hey! I'm Steven. I am a Cornwall Wedding Photographer. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to create a whole story that documents your most important day in the most natural and beautiful way possible. Working on all that the pictures are captured for forever. I will always look to capture your special day naturally and organically, documenting the fun, laughter and happiness as and how it occurs. I cover set up, love, photographs of your big day directing you or your guests. I follow the narrative of the day and capture all of the magical moments.

I love being a wedding photographer in Cornwall. I've been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. Photography has always been a huge passion of mine ever since I was a child.

I grew up in Cornwall but have enjoyed travelling the world as much as possible since my early 20s. Not only do I love photographing weddings in Cornwall, I've never been lucky enough to capture couples special days all over the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

Boho Mommy + Me Studio Sessions and the Bohemian Aesthetic

Boho is short for bohemian. A style that was at its height of popularity in the mid-2000s, think around 2005. Recently, the style made a resurgence of influence in 2022, with crocheted, layered, and flowy patterns being seen back in runway shows and fashion media. It is a free-spirit aesthetic that combines bold colors, unconventional, and organic elements.

Introducing Motherhood Sessions

We have finally found where our heart belongs—introducing: Motherhood Sessions! That’s right, mama. In studio Mommy and Me Sessions with Dear Marlowe Photography are here, and you’re not gonna want to miss out. We know how tiring motherhood can be. We know how little time you have left for yourself. And we know how often capturing this season feels overwhelming and just another thing on your list.

Dear Marlowe Photography specializes in pregnancy, newborn, and family photography with services to the Houston area, including Katy, Cypress, Richmond, Fulshear, Sugar Land, Pearland, Spring, The Woodlands, The Heights, West University Place, River Oaks, Rice Village, Bellaire, and Friendswood.

Aesthetic Studio Space and Design

The set was perfect. It had ALL the boho aesthetic that we could not wait to jump right into! The warm, tan, and orange color palette of the space felt so inviting. The studio had a carefully decorated macrame bed, surrounded by pampas grass, cozy rugs, and lots of cute pillows. It had such a natural feel that translated directly to the portraits! I used lots of textured props for this set to give it a very earthy and bohemian look because it often incorporates various textures, which always photograph beautifully.

Styling and Wardrobe Guidance

Wardrobe for this session was key for creating a cohesive aesthetic, so I sent a wardrobe guide to my clients with a color palette and outfit suggestions from vendors like Baltic Born, Joyfolie, Zara and H&M. My clients completely slayed their wardrobe choices and I just love each and every one of the sessions from this day. They rocked loose, flowy outfits, hats, chunky jewelry, and flowers. Which went perfectly with the set! Most of the outfits and accessories the girls wore in this shoot are from the AHP Style Closet—a fashion treasure trove with a little bit of everything.

Engagement and Couple Photographer Cornwall

As well as being a wedding photographer in Cornwall I am also a professional couple and engagement photoshoots. I love photographing love! In which I do love having photographed couples for the last 15 years in Cornwall and the rest of the world.

Whether you are a new couple or have been married for 50+ years, a professional couple is a wonderful gift. I have photographed couples of many stages of their relationship.

I always make sure the photoshoots are relaxed, unposed, and fun. Not many people enjoy having their photos taken, including me, which is why I make sure that you are both relaxed and happy during the shoot.

Engagement photoshoots are a great way to get used to the camera before your wedding and are offered as part of my wedding photography.
