Wedding Photographer in Cornwall
As a wedding photographer in Cornwall, I love covering weddings in Cornwall. It is my home County why would I want to cover a wedding anywhere else. It has some of the greatest landscapes. Yes, I am also a destination wedding photographer so I travel all over the world, but it’s the wild beauty of Cornwall that I love. The history around the land is as old as anywhere in the UK. I am always wanting to cover more weddings in Cornwall so please let me know if you would like to meet and chat about what we could do to capture your wedding.
Rugged Landscapes and Coastal Charm in St Ives
Every wedding photographer loves Cornwall! I am no exception! There is so much to love; the rugged coastline, the ever-changing sea and weather conditions, the air, the light… all these things are abundant in St Ives, a town with a rich history of artists, sculptors, writers, fisherman and folklore. When preparing for the day, I love meeting brides for getting shots, it’s a great way to set the day up and always such a lovely mix of excitement and butterflies. Hair and makeup was in the very safe hands of the lovely and super-talented LJP bridal.
It’s always worth remembering how quickly the weather can change in Cornwall. A good wedding photographer will always be on the lookout for little breaks in the weather, even on the bleakest of days one can utilise the moody skies to an advantage. Between the showers, locations like Porthgwidden Beach Café do the most amazing job of hosting the wedding breakfast and reception. Sumptuous food and excellent service all round provide a wonderful spot with Porthgwidden Beach providing the perfect backdrop for a Cornwall wedding photographer. Music by Dave and Mart of the ‘The Great Little Band’ was exceptional – I’ve never seen a dancefloor fill so quickly!
Bespoke Farm Weddings: Tremorna Farm
Kilts and ceilidh come to Cornwall! Tremorna Farm; a beautiful site for creating bespoke weddings; set amongst acres of West Cornwall farmland it really is a top-notch Cornwall wedding venue! The sun shone and there were bagpipes played and pasties eaten … along with lots of love and laughter, oh and lots of very boisterous ceilidh dancing. The couple were both so radiant, kind and lovely. I love being immersed in the joy of a beautiful Cornwall wedding! The wedding suppliers in the County are fantastic. Very diverse and unique.
