Hey! I'm Steven. I am a Cornwall Wedding Photographer. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to create a whole story that documents your most important day in the most natural and beautiful way possible. Working on all that the pictures are captured for forever. I will always look to capture your special day naturally and organically, documenting the fun, laughter and happiness as and how it occurs. I cover set up, love, photographs of your big day directing you or your guests. I follow the narrative of the day and capture all of the magical moments.

I love being a wedding photographer in Cornwall. I've been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. Photography has always been a huge passion of mine ever since I was a child.

I grew up in Cornwall but have enjoyed travelling the world as much as possible since my early 20s. Not only do I love photographing weddings in Cornwall, I've never been lucky enough to capture couples special days all over the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

Elopement weddings in Cornwall aren’t for everyone, but it’s becoming such a more common thing in recent years. There is something so honest and pure about two people just getting married on their own because they love each other! It gives me such a kick to photograph people just doing it for themselves! Your elopement in Cornwall will always be the most beautiful, unique and special day of your lives.

Relaxed intimate weddings always suit my style as a documentary style wedding and elopement photographer in Cornwall - making the most of scenery and natural light, to capture the celebrations and tell the story with no posing or anything contrived, just real moments. My great love is to document these weddings as an elopement photographer Cornwall in the most natural and organic way as possible. By that I mean, I want to capture the real feeling of the day. Your photos also need to be pain free and what I really mean by that is, no hard work posing, no artificial moments and absolutely zero cheese!

On the day it’s about so much more than posing and awkward moments, it’s all about the real moments happening and it’s my goal to make sure that I capture everything happening. From the feeling of love in the room to the smallest little moments of excitement, nerves and even tears, I capture it all!! You don’t have to do anything. So now that you’ve decided you want to elope to Cornwall for your wedding, it’s time to choose where and what venue! There are so many gorgeous venues to elope to in Cornwall they can be a bit of minefield to find the one that suits you. Luckily there are a huge amount of venues in Cornwall that are perfectly set up for elopements and some even dedicated to it.

  • St Ives harbour hotel and Polurrian on the Lizard - Stunning coastal locations.
  • Beacon Crag - The perfect spot for an elopement or small wedding on the coast of Porthleven. This stretch of coast offers special dramatic light from autumn into the winter months.
  • Chypraze - Another excellent coastal option.

Real Elopement Stories

The Cornwall Elopement of Leanne and Peter

Leanne and Peter snuck off to BoHo Cornwall for there beautiful Cornwall Elopement. It was a beautiful day and Leanne and Peters laid back attitude made it all the more pleasurable. The ceremony was held inside, and after we explored the coast together finding hidden spots and beautiful seascapes. When planning our wedding we were looking for a venue that catered to small groups or elopements. We were looking for something that reflected our personalities, was relaxing, fun and stress-free. Boho was a winning contender right from the start and was an excellent choice.

Beacon Crag: Carla and Geran

Carla and Geran got very lucky with the weather and even braved an outdoor ceremony late October before heading down to the cosy ‘The Ship Inn’ pub in Porthleven for lunch and drinks. It’s only a 15 minute walk away, so we made the most out of it and too some portraits along the way. And we found the perfect clifftop spot for their private vows.

As well as being a wedding photographer in Cornwall I am also a professional couple and engagement photoshoots. I love photographing love! In which I do love having photographed couples for the last 15 years in Cornwall and the rest of the world.

Whether you are a new couple or have been married for 50+ years, a professional couple is a wonderful gift. I have photographed couples of many stages of their relationship.

I always make sure the photoshoots are relaxed, unposed, and fun. Not many people enjoy having their photos taken, including me, which is why I make sure that you are both relaxed and happy during the shoot.

Engagement photoshoots are a great way to get used to the camera before your wedding and are offered as part of my wedding photography.
