Cornwall Wedding Photographer

Unposed, Natural, Relaxed Professional Photography

Hey! I'm Steven. I am a Cornwall Wedding Photographer. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to create a whole story that documents your most important day in the most natural and beautiful way possible. Working on all that the pictures are captured for forever. I will always look to capture your special day naturally and organically, documenting the fun, laughter and happiness as and how it occurs. I cover set up, love, photographs of your big day directing you or your guests. I follow the narrative of the day and capture all of the magical moments.

A Little Bit About Me

I love being a wedding photographer in Cornwall. I've been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. Photography has always been a huge passion of mine ever since I was a child.

I grew up in Cornwall but have enjoyed travelling the world as much as possible since my early 20s. Not only do I love photographing weddings in Cornwall, I've never been lucky enough to capture couples special days all over the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

Penzance: A Comprehensive Travel Guide to Cornwall’s Historic Port Town

Penzance is a charming market and port town with an interesting history and art heritage. Made famous worldwide by the Gilbert and Sullivan opera The Pirates of Penzance, the town has a quaint harbor area as well as picturesque beaches that face the English Channel. With its pirate connotations and historical and cultural attractions, Penzance is a great destination for a coastal getaway.

Architecture and Art Heritage

Visitors can stroll through the town center to admire the Regency and Georgian houses. Browse shopping arcades and art galleries and enjoy the superb views of Mount’s Bay in this harbor town near the country’s most southwesterly point. The town also has several notable art galleries, among them Penlee House Gallery and Museum. Here you can study works from the Newlyn School art colony, who took inspiration from the daily lives of local fishermen. Head for the harbor that inspired some of the Newlyn School’s art and observe the array of bobbing boats. Continue south along the promenade and connecting walking trail for about 30 minutes to reach Newlyn Art Gallery, which showcases contemporary art.

Historical Landmarks and Coastal Views

Learn about the distant past at the Chysauster Ancient Village. This Iron Age settlement comprises the stone remnants of old homes as well as a mysterious underground passage. Imagine what daily life was like more than 2,000 years ago as you explore. Additionally, you can find the headland of Land’s End, the most southwesterly point on the island of Great Britain, just 10 miles (16 kilometers) west of town. In the Land’s End visitor center ask about activities, and you might spot seals and dolphins off the coast. A short drive east from Land’s End is the extraordinary Minack Theatre, an outdoor theater complex carved into cliffs overlooking the sea. Watch a performance from the terrace or visit outside of performance times to see the backstage areas and even walk on the famous stage.

Travel Logistics and Climate

Penzance has a mild year-round climate, with warm, sunny summers and wet winters that are perfect for storm-watching. The town is located in the Penwith area of Cornwall. To get here, you can drive for about 300 miles (480 kilometers) from London or about 80 miles (130 kilometers) from Plymouth. Alternatively, ride the Cornish Main Line train from Plymouth to Penzance.

Engagement and Couple Photographer Cornwall

As well as being a wedding photographer in Cornwall I am also a professional couple and engagement photoshoots. I love photographing love! In which I do love having photographed couples for the last 15 years in Cornwall and the rest of the world.

Whether you are a new couple or have been married for 50+ years, a professional couple is a wonderful gift. I have photographed couples of many stages of their relationship.

I always make sure the photoshoots are relaxed, unposed, and fun. Not many people enjoy having their photos taken, including me, which is why I make sure that you are both relaxed and happy during the shoot.

Engagement photoshoots are a great way to get used to the camera before your wedding and are offered as part of my wedding photography.
