National Wedding Venue of the Year | Treseren Wins
We’re delighted to share the exciting news with you that Treseren has been awarded National Wedding Venue of the Year Historic Building in The Wedding Industry Awards 2025 for the second consecutive year. To celebrate the achievement, Emma and Izzy travelled to London for the glamorous awards evening at The Underglobe on London’s Southbank and gathered with industry finalists from across the country in 27 categories to nervously await the results.
The Journey to the National Award
TWIA is the only Regional and National client-voted, expert-judged Awards in the UK wedding industry and we had to undergo a rigorous entry process before being announced as the winners of our category at the southwest awards ceremony in November. The National winners are then chosen by the judging panel and among the finalists were impressive stately homes, castles and a former royal residence, so it was a huge achievement for us to bring the award all the way home to Cornwall.
According to Damian Bailey, Founder of The Wedding Industry Awards, “The National Awards event is the biggest night in the wedding industry and a National Award is the highest accolade you can get. TWIA is trusted by business and couples alike and gives credible differentiation in what is an incredibly competitive market.” He added that the standard has been higher than ever so the National Winners really are at the top of their game.

Celebrations and Industry Success
Following the awards ceremony, Emma was interviewed by the host and founder Damian Bailey. “We feel huge pride to be winners in The Wedding Industry Awards for the second year running. We are so passionate about creating magical experiences for our wedding couples and we are utterly delighted to have been recognised in this prestigious category” – Emma, Treseren Founder.
Of course, with some of the best wedding professionals in the country all in one room the entertainment at the event was fabulous and we enjoyed an aerial performance and ended the evening with music from previous wedding band of the year winners Tux Fizz. It was especially lovely to celebrate our win with fellow Cornish Wedding Industry professional Cassie, from Cornwall Caricatures, whom we have worked with on a number of Treseren weddings.

What a gem of a venue with stunning rooms and gardens and even better staff who are genuinely lovely people who really cared about making our stay perfect. We cannot wait to host another year of magical small weddings in 2025!
