Cornwall Wedding Photographer

Unposed, Natural, Relaxed Professional Photography

Hey! I'm Steven. I am a Cornwall Wedding Photographer. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to create a whole story that documents your most important day in the most natural and beautiful way possible. Working on all that the pictures are captured for forever. I will always look to capture your special day naturally and organically, documenting the fun, laughter and happiness as and how it occurs. I cover set up, love, photographs of your big day directing you or your guests. I follow the narrative of the day and capture all of the magical moments.

Romantic Spring Engagement and Couple Photography Guide

The best time to take your engagements photo in Central Park, would have to be the Spring or Fall. These are my two favorite seasons in New York to photograph engagement photos. The flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, and it's perfect, cozy sweater weather. Central Park is by far, one of my favorite locations for engagement photos in New York City! It’s the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and immerse yourself in nature.

Top Locations and Tips for Central Park Sessions

Starting off with a secluded little spot called Ladies Pavilion in Central Park, you will find a quiet little gazebo overlooking the Central Park Lake. There also huge rocks, right by the lake, and make for some romantic photos! Another reason, why I love photographing engagement photos in the Spring is because the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom!! You can find them between 72nd Street and 96th Street.

Honestly, the best piece of advice, I can give you, when having your engagement photo shoot in Central Park, is to just start at one spot and then continue walking down the trail and take photos as you go. You never know what you come across, from the bridges, the cherry blossom trees, the gazebos, there is beauty in every corner.

Embracing the Weather

Ashley and Joseph engagement photo shoot in Central Park, was particularly cold, cloudy, and a bit rainy. But it didn’t stop us from taking beautiful engagement photos! Plus some of my favorite engagement photos ever are in the rain! Nothing like dancing in the rain, and just letting go and being a little free. Plus, due to the weather, we essentially had Central Park all to ourselves!

Planning a Blossom Session in Iowa

The best time to plan a blossom session in Iowa is in mid-April. The exact timing will depend on the year since the weather can greatly affect when the trees will bloom. I like to plan tentative dates for blossom sessions. Once the trees start to bloom, the blossoms will only last about a week! For these sessions, I suggest they wear something they would feel comfortable wearing on a date. Combined with the sun shining through the dreamy white blossoms, it made for the perfect session!

Springtime in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest

Spring here in Oregon is something special. We definitely have to wait for it through all the clouds + the rain, but my goodness - for sessions like this, I’ll take every last day of it! Springtime flower fields is definitely one of my favorites - it’s colorful, romantic + just a little magical come sunset!

These are the moments they’ll have to look back on - the “way back whens”..these are the photos that remind us of what we are fighting for, every day. The joy. The fun. The laughter. The love.

Seasonal Photography Comparison

Location Best Timing Key Features
Central Park, NYC Spring or Fall Cherry Blossoms (72nd-96th St), Ladies Pavilion, Lake rocks

What to Wear and Style Advice

  • Wear colors you have found out look good on you during a color analysis.
  • Choose something you would feel comfortable wearing on a date.
  • Embrace a documentary approach: focus on how couples naturally interact.
  • Don't fear the rain; it can lead to some of the most beautiful and unique photos.

Engagement and Couple Photographer Cornwall

As well as being a wedding photographer in Cornwall I am also a professional couple and engagement photoshoots. I love photographing love! In which I do love having photographed couples for the last 15 years in Cornwall and the rest of the world.

Whether you are a new couple or have been married for 50+ years, a professional couple is a wonderful gift. I have photographed couples of many stages of their relationship.

I always make sure the photoshoots are relaxed, unposed, and fun. Not many people enjoy having their photos taken, including me, which is why I make sure that you are both relaxed and happy during the shoot.

Engagement photoshoots are a great way to get used to the camera before your wedding and are offered as part of my wedding photography.
