Hey! I'm Steven. I am a Cornwall Wedding Photographer. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to create a whole story that documents your most important day in the most natural and beautiful way possible. Working on all that the pictures are captured for forever. I will always look to capture your special day naturally and organically, documenting the fun, laughter and happiness as and how it occurs. I cover set up, love, photographs of your big day directing you or your guests. I follow the narrative of the day and capture all of the magical moments.

I love being a wedding photographer in Cornwall. I've been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. Photography has always been a huge passion of mine ever since I was a child.

I grew up in Cornwall but have enjoyed travelling the world as much as possible since my early 20s. Not only do I love photographing weddings in Cornwall, I've never been lucky enough to capture couples special days all over the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

Cornwall Wedding and Elopement Photography

Cornwall is where our hearts are. It is a huge part of our lives, so it makes just perfect sense to begin the next chapter there. For couples looking to lose themselves and be completely and utterly in a bubble of love, a Cornwall elopement offers a real magical intimacy that is so sacred.

Danni and April’s Scarlet Hotel Elopement

Danni and April asked me to capture their Scarlet Hotel elopement when their original plan to tie the knot in Las Vegas was sadly cancelled by Covid. Vegas’s loss was most definitely Cornwall’s gain though, because this gorgeous couple arranged the absolute dreamiest of beachy celebrations. Beautiful florals, canapés and fizz on the beach and lots of fun and love shared with four of their dearest friends, made for a super chilled day that was full of laughter and an absolute privilege to be a part of.

The Scarlet is the perfect venue for a coastal elopement, managing to combine luxury with a genuinely relaxed, holiday vibe and it is great for photos with beautiful gardens, stunning views and a beautiful sandy beach just a short wander away. This elopement was so stunning that it was featured by Dancing with Her and Wed Magazine.

Danni and April shared their experience: “We are absolutely overwhelmed with our photos, you have completely captured spirit of the day, and of us, perfectly! Your attention to detail is incredible, even catching our families on FaceTime was an amazing and emotional touch!”

Kerry and Will at Boho Cornwall Elopements

Well, it is hard to put into words just HOW magical Kerry and Will’s Boho Cornwall Elopements was. Their intimate, romantic and emotional ceremony set the mood for the day, followed by some extreme hiking along the cornish coastline to a secret beach, which was totally worth it as we were rewarded by a clean empty beach, a giant sea cave and the most gorgeous dramatic sky! The huge waves crashing against the cliffs just made for the best backdrop for their fun and wild couple shoot.

Regarding their inspiration, they noted: “Myself & William always wanted to have a smaller Cornwall Elopements wedding, something that would mean more to us as a couple – rather than the never-ending guest list. Something felt so magical about the idea of running away just the two of us!”

The couple chose attire and styles that complemented the rugged environment. “I went for a Boho style dress that I really felt would compliment the Cornish coastlines. The textures of the lace & the extra little details like the sleeves just made it so unique & special. I went for bare feet, because quite frankly who needs shoes in Cornwall!”

Ally and Paul’s Holywell Bay Elopement

Paul and Ally's Cornish wedding elopement at Holywell Bay was an intimate and breathtaking celebration of their love. Captured on a quiet and the secluded corner of Cornwall’s truly stunning coastline, the couple's decision to elope made for a deeply personal and intimate experience. This allowed them to focus on their love for each other and the stunning natural beauty of their surroundings.

As well as being a wedding photographer in Cornwall I am also a professional couple and engagement photoshoots. I love photographing love! In which I do love having photographed couples for the last 15 years in Cornwall and the rest of the world.

Whether you are a new couple or have been married for 50+ years, a professional couple is a wonderful gift. I have photographed couples of many stages of their relationship.

I always make sure the photoshoots are relaxed, unposed, and fun. Not many people enjoy having their photos taken, including me, which is why I make sure that you are both relaxed and happy during the shoot.

Engagement photoshoots are a great way to get used to the camera before your wedding and are offered as part of my wedding photography.
