Hey! I'm Steven. I am a Cornwall Wedding Photographer. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to create a whole story that documents your most important day in the most natural and beautiful way possible. Working on all that the pictures are captured for forever. I will always look to capture your special day naturally and organically, documenting the fun, laughter and happiness as and how it occurs. I cover set up, love, photographs of your big day directing you or your guests. I follow the narrative of the day and capture all of the magical moments.

I love being a wedding photographer in Cornwall. I've been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. Photography has always been a huge passion of mine ever since I was a child.

I grew up in Cornwall but have enjoyed travelling the world as much as possible since my early 20s. Not only do I love photographing weddings in Cornwall, I've never been lucky enough to capture couples special days all over the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

So many locations could be considered the best photo worthy spots in KC, but which one is the right fit for your photo session? Whether you are looking for lush nature or historic architecture, Kansas City offers a variety of backgrounds for photos.

Top Outdoor Photo Locations

If a more natural look is what you’re going for; Loose Park is the perfect patch of green in the city. This location features greenery, roses, and ponds. Another iconic choice is The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. There are photo worthy spots all over the grounds of the Nelson, from tall columns, fields of green, modern glass, and don’t forget the shuttlecocks!

For those who love cityscapes, Liberty Memorial hosts one of the pretties views of Kansas City skyline, which makes it one of the best photo worthy spots in KC. Additionally, The Plaza has a variety of backgrounds for photos, including busy streets, quiet rooftops, and beautiful fountains. Anyone who has experienced the unwelcome surprise will tell you there’s truly nothing quite like the last minute scramble to find a suitable indoor location. Historic Architectural Gems

Located in the heart of Kansas City, Union Station boasts a prominent role in KC’s rich history, as well as some of the most beautiful architecture in Crown Town. From the majestic Grand Plaza, to the upper corridors, and a hundred other spots in between, Union Station is worth consideration for indoor photos. However, keep in mind that there is a fee to take professional pictures, and you’ll need to purchase a photography permit, as well!

The Kansas City Public Library, located in the historic former First National Bank building, features several photo worthy spots. The original bank lobby, now named Kirk Hall, features marble floors, elegant chandeliers and classic columns. Head down to the lower level and you will find the old bank vault; the giant steel door makes for truly one of a kind photos. The library allows professional photography with the rental of an event space.

  • Rochester Brewing: Snuggle up on a lush green velvet couch next to white washed brick walls and large bright windows. It is the perfect place to pop in for a quick and cozy indoor shoot.
  • Westin at Crown Center: The lobby boasts a beautiful waterfall display which creates a unique indoor backdrop for photos. Natural light from the nearby windows gives this weatherproof spot an edge.

As well as being a wedding photographer in Cornwall I am also a professional couple and engagement photoshoots. I love photographing love! In which I do love having photographed couples for the last 15 years in Cornwall and the rest of the world.

Whether you are a new couple or have been married for 50+ years, a professional couple is a wonderful gift. I have photographed couples of many stages of their relationship.

I always make sure the photoshoots are relaxed, unposed, and fun. Not many people enjoy having their photos taken, including me, which is why I make sure that you are both relaxed and happy during the shoot.
