Digital Arts (B.A.) - La Salle University
La Salle University’s digital arts curriculum provides you with the technical tools and conceptual foundation to make effective and engaging visual designs. Students master specialized skills with a wide variety of classes, including animation, audio production, color theory, visual communication, and web design. By developing a strong foundation in visual design as well as coding skills to create versatile interactive applications, students gain the tools to build a digital portfolio appropriate to your professional goals and aspirations.
What You’ll Learn
Students learn foundational skills of digital image making and software. They incorporate artwork from our very own La Salle University Art Museum as they create collage illustrations and intricate vector designs. Furthermore, students use industry-standard 3D modeling and animation software to create a variety of objects, characters, and environments which can be output as animations, 360° immersive experiences, and 3D prints.

- Digital Image Making: Students learn foundational skills of digital image making and software, creating collage illustrations and intricate vector designs.
- 3D Modeling and Animation: Students create a variety of objects, characters, and environments for animations and 360° immersive experiences.
- Color Theory: This course is an introduction to color models, color interaction, and the human perception of color. Students explore the theory and practice of digital color through image-making projects, including illustrations and logo design.
