Hey! I'm Steven. I am a Cornwall Wedding Photographer. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to create a whole story that documents your most important day in the most natural and beautiful way possible. Working on all that the pictures are captured for forever. I will always look to capture your special day naturally and organically, documenting the fun, laughter and happiness as and how it occurs. I cover set up, love, photographs of your big day directing you or your guests. I follow the narrative of the day and capture all of the magical moments.

I love being a wedding photographer in Cornwall. I've been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. Photography has always been a huge passion of mine ever since I was a child.

I grew up in Cornwall but have enjoyed travelling the world as much as possible since my early 20s. Not only do I love photographing weddings in Cornwall, I've never been lucky enough to capture couples special days all over the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

Professional Documentary Wedding Photography in Maine

I think the wedding industry has really lost touch with what wedding days are actually about. I’ve captured many days where my couple has been pulled in a million different directions: they’re trying to please everyone and create the best event they can that they forget their day is actually supposed to be about them. What do you want to remember about your day? The flowers you chose? The $ you spent on your cake? Nope- the memories. I care about documenting your MEMORIES and capturing every raw emotion, because that’s what it’s truly about.

I want to tell your story as naturally and authentically as possible. Natural, documentary, photojournalistic. Real, raw, candid. We’re not going for any stiff prom poses here. I like to capture the day as it is and to document it as it unfolds. I never want to force anything, but I step in and direct where needed. I know how awkward it can feel when you’re not used to getting your photo taken! I will be here to guide you and prompt you the whole way, I promise.

Fidelio Photography: Capturing Unique Moments

Fidelio Photography are documentary Maine-based wedding photographers who use digital and 35 mm film. Jessica and Lyle are an award winning team who have been in business since 2007. Since 2017 we have photographed hundreds of weddings in Maine and beyond. One of our greatest strengths is bringing out the unique personality of each wedding. We are always looking: for unique light, for interesting moments, for cool angles.

Over the years we have developed the ability to figure these things out quickly and are capturing moments that other people might miss. We also love to focus on the people at the wedding because weddings are about people. We love emotions, silly moments, unique expressions, all of it. Many times couples will look back and be amazed at the images that we caught that they had no idea were happening. As well as being a wedding photographer in Cornwall I am also a professional couple and engagement photoshoots. I love photographing love! In which I do love having photographed couples for the last 15 years in Cornwall and the rest of the world.

Whether you are a new couple or have been married for 50+ years, a professional couple is a wonderful gift. I have photographed couples of many stages of their relationship.

I always make sure the photoshoots are relaxed, unposed, and fun. Not many people enjoy having their photos taken, including me, which is why I make sure that you are both relaxed and happy during the shoot.

Engagement photoshoots are a great way to get used to the camera before your wedding and are offered as part of my wedding photography.
