Welcoming a new baby is one of life’s most precious moments, and capturing those early days with professional photography ensures memories that last a lifetime. I offer three unique types of newborn sessions to suit your family’s style and preferences. Whether you prefer a cozy, styled studio session or a more candid approach, there’s an option that fits your vision for capturing your baby’s earliest days.
Available Newborn Session Types

Posed Studio Newborn Sessions
These sessions take place in my fully equipped studio in Nesconset, Long Island, NY. I create a warm and soothing environment for your baby. With carefully selected props, blankets, and backdrops, I gently pose your newborn to create beautiful, artistic portraits. The studio is stocked with props, fabrics, hats, headbands, outfits, and almost anything else you can think of! Sessions typically take 2-3 hours to allow for feeding, soothing, and capturing a variety of setups. These portraits focus on the delicate details and perfect little features of your baby in a classic, polished style.
Regarding the artistic process, a setup is one background. I will do multiple poses on each background. A background could be a certain color fabric or a prop. I recommend viewing my Instagram, where you will see each set of 3 images (for the most part) is one setup.
Scheduling Your Session
When is the best time to have my newborn photographed? I strongly recommend your session happen between 5-14 days old. They are more likely to stay asleep and cooperate during their poses, they still like to be curled up and don’t mind being posed and their flaky skin or baby acne has not set in yet. It's never too soon to book your session! Most people reach out in the beginning of the second trimester. I book according to due dates. Newborn sessions are available Monday through Friday at 9am, which tends to be baby's sleepiest time.
Family and Sibling Participation

Turnaround and Gallery Information
Depending on the time of year, my turnaround time is anywhere from 1 -14 days. You will first receive a proofing gallery in which you will have the opportunity to choose your images, as well as purchase additional images. Prints are available for purchase after you receive your final edited gallery. *RAW images are never released.
