Expert Wedding Photography: Capturing Authentic Stories and Emotional Moments
We are a photography studio that can’t resist a good love story filled with beauty, adoring family, hilarious friends, signature cocktails, embarrassing speeches, and a bang-up dance floor. As former editorial photojournalists, we know how to tell stories. Being photographers who love the challenge of not missing a thing, it’s our job to make sure every important second does not go unnoticed. The real stuff is so much better than the fake stuff, and we won’t ask you to do anything we wouldn’t do ourselves.
The Charleston Wedding Experience
We live in downtown Charleston — just six blocks from Hampton Park. That means that if you’re getting married in Charleston, we are your people because we know this town. Charleston is one of the most popular wedding destinations because of the tropical weather, the walkable downtown, the celebratory atmosphere, the history, the beach, and the insanely good restaurant scene. The soul of this city is palpable, and the warm Southern air and engaging hospitality helps keep your guests in the festive spirit. There’s a reason why so many people vacation in Charleston and never want to leave.
Weddings in Charleston give us an avenue for what we do best. We express your anticipation, as you get ready, through emotional photos that show your happiness, your nerves, your energy, and your affection for those around you. Because we’ve photographed 800+ weddings in the United States and 30 other countries, we bring a cosmopolitan voice to your Lowcountry wedding photographs.
Destination Elopements in Utah
Salt Flats in Utah is the perfect destination wedding spot at any time of the year. It really is a perfect place for an elopement or bridals. We appreciate the romantic and ethereal vibes of these sessions, and if you’re looking for inspiration for your own dreamy wedding, look no further. Whether it is a Sand Dunes elopement or an adventure in the rainy mountains, it is our goal to ensure everything is remembered.
Kansas City 2023 Year in Review

There were over 20 weddings that have been honored with photography, and they were all so full of color and joy. Featured highlights from real Kansas City weddings include:

- Ethiopian Wedding: A beautiful day at Loews Kansas City for Maki & Teddy.
- Luxury Editorial Style: Vogue style wedding photos in Kansas City for Beatriz & Matt.
- Fusion Sikh Wedding: A ceremony and reception for Tosh & Lorissa.
- Intimate Rainy Wedding: A beautiful ceremony in Overland Park for Elizabeth & George.
Capturing Cultural Traditions and Large Celebrations
I’m always a fan of a big Trinidad wedding. They have lots of colours, lots of dancing, and lots of money flying around. Even a little rain didn’t stop couples from enjoying their portrait session. Summer weddings can be quite predictable when it comes to heat, but when everyone’s focus is to help the bride and groom, things go very smoothly. Whether it is a traditional Christian ceremony or a family heavy fusion wedding at the Terrace Banquet Centre, we ensure all your details are beautifully documented, from your invitation suite to the parting gifts.
The Philosophy of Connection and Posing
How people celebrate love is different for everyone, and we want to know who you care about most and what little quiet moments or personality traits we should look out for. We’ll talk with your parents before the wedding as well, so we can understand what makes you special through their eyes. We prioritize love, friendship, and the meaning of marriage.
Regarding creative direction, many couples come prepared with inspirational photos of what they want for their wedding. I know some photographers dread Pinterest couples, but I love them. They provide creative poses and combinations that end up being a great way of testing out new posing and compositional ideas. As your photographer, when we create photos, we’re thinking about how each image will make people feel — for you, your family, and your memories.
