Professional Guide to Wedding Gowns and Bridal Photography Services
Everything at WeddingCrafters is designed with Quality, Comfort & Style and Fit in mind. Whether your wedding is in one month or one year, bridal studios offer the most incredible selection of gowns to suit every budget, style, shape, and timeline. Quality is paramount; we source for unique and quality laces and fabrics from all around the world. Our gowns are all locally designed – from sketch to silhouette, and lovingly handmade with the laces hand-sewn right here in our humble studio.
Trends and Style Selection
I have definitely seen a shift towards the more minimalistic look, featuring clean lines with a focus on the silhouette of the female figure. The beauty of these gowns is that the focus is on you! For example, Veronica (w/ Detachable Off-Shoulder Wings) fits UK 6 to 10 and features court train length with beading and lace. To ensure the perfect visual documentation of your day, studios often provide Gown, Makeup & Photography/Videography Packages featuring professional work from Shaelyn Marie Photography and Olesya Arnautov.
Essential Tips for Wedding Dress Shopping
- Timing: The perfect time for gown purchase is 9 months before your wedding, as most designers need a minimum of 6 months to make something happen for you.
- Appointments: I find it really beneficial if a bride comes on her own or with just one person whose opinion they value highly.
- Selection: Make sure your tribe knows what you’re looking for and respects your choices and your style.
- Inventory: Not to worry, all of the wedding gowns in our inventory are available for you to take home immediately!
Size Inclusivity and Professional Alterations
We pride ourselves on size inclusivity, offering sizes 6 – 32. In general, gowns can be altered to fit between UK6-10. Even if the wedding dress is a few sizes too big, a qualified seamstress can make it fit like a glove. Our standard alteration process includes hemming up of the front length for all gowns, regardless of the heel height – this means even if you are wearing sneakers, the gowns will be floor length in front when we are done.
Pricing and Service Comparison
Understanding the costs involved is vital for planning your perfect day. Here is an overview of the rates and offerings based on current bridal studio data:
- Ala-carte off the rack rental: 1 gown – $1,290; 2nd gown +$990; 3rd gown +$890.
- Designer Collections: Prices range from $1500 to $9000, with an average gown price around $3000 – $5000.
- Bespoke Process: For brides looking to embark on the bespoke journey, a lead time of at least 4 – 6 months would be ideal.
- Sale Selection: Special events may offer dresses from £499.
