Based in Seattle, where rain-kissed streets and vibrant cityscapes serve as a backdrop for love stories, a documentary wedding photographer emerges with an unmatched dedication to capturing the essence of human emotion. People are the biggest reason WHY I photograph weddings. I have been a Seattle wedding photographer for many years and have meet many people over those years; everyone is different bringing a different perspective into every story.

You may think you know a standard wedding, but the STORY is always different. The story of a wedding day is never the same. There is always a different set of past stories and the next chapter of that story is what plays out on your wedding day. Focusing on the many unique people throughout your wedding day always excites me to tell the story of you in a fun, dynamic and creative way. I truly cherish getting to know the couples that I work with – their story and relationships make my role interesting, dynamic, and fulfilling.

Small moments string together, comprising the overall wedding day. I capture timeless moments showing beyond how the day looked, but more of how it felt. Moments are fragile and fleeting. I bring a calm presence and eliminate distraction, allowing the moments to flourish. Candid moments of the day help narrate the true story of your wedding.
In every frame lies an exquisite balance between spontaneity and artistry; each photograph is carefully composed yet instinctively candid, reflecting not just events but also the palpable energy in the air—the laughter shared between friends or a fleeting glance exchanged by lovers. The Team Behind the Lens
We are a husband-and-wife team of two: Michelle is our main photographer and Sean does everything-in-between. We're college sweethearts and love meeting people from all sorts of different cultures and walks of life. The name 'Sancii' came from Michelle’s maiden name (Sanchie). The two i’s in the name symbolize the relationship between two people - your relationship with each other and our relationship with you. We've captured emotions around the world—from Swiss mountains and Bali forests to Chicago streets.
