Exhibitions and Community Events
Yesterday saw the welcome return of Interprint to St Ives with a successful exhibition of prints from the 20 entering clubs and a close competition judged by Chris Palmer. Earlier in the year, our annual Interprint Competition was back in the Free Church, St Ives on Saturday 25th February; the exhibition opened at 10am and was open to the general public, featuring some great photography images not to be missed!
We’re please to announce our Pop-Up Exhibition is now open in the windows of the old Just Sharing shop in Free Church Passage. Many thanks to our friends at the Free Church for allowing us to use this space. Our Annual Exhibition was also held over the weekend of 11th and 12th November, with many members of the public attending the exhibition at St Ives Free Church and voting for their favourite image of the exhibition. The club member with the most public votes was Steve Laws with his image ‘Abandoned Boats’.
Furthermore, club members acted as official photographers for the MAGPAS Obstacle Dash event at Abbots Ripton. We took a few thousand photos, and provided many of them to MAGPAS for their social media and publicity purposes. Action shots were provided courtesy of Graham Shirra and Gary Dean.
Interprint 2023 Update
We are pleased to announce that the 2023 inter-club print competition took place on Saturday 25th February 2023, where entry was by invitation only. Full results can be found on our Interprint Page. Congratulations to the winners, and we look forward to welcoming you all back to St Ives again next year!
