Cornwall Wedding Photographer

Unposed, Natural, Relaxed Professional Photography

Hey! I'm Steven. I am a Cornwall Wedding Photographer. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to create a whole story that documents your most important day in the most natural and beautiful way possible. Working on all that the pictures are captured for forever. I will always look to capture your special day naturally and organically, documenting the fun, laughter and happiness as and how it occurs. I cover set up, love, photographs of your big day directing you or your guests. I follow the narrative of the day and capture all of the magical moments.

13 Interactive Wedding Guestbook Ideas to Wow Your Guests

A guestbook is a wedding tradition that has been around for many years. It's a way for guests to leave their mark and well-wishes for the happy couple. However, in recent years, the traditional guestbook has become somewhat of a dying trend. Many couples are opting for more creative and unique ways for guests to leave their messages. In this blog post, we'll explore some fun and interactive guestbook ideas that will add a touch of personality to your special day.

Interactive Guestbook Ideas

Polaroid Guestbook

One popular alternative is the Polaroid guestbook. Set up a Polaroid camera and have guests snap a photo of themselves. They can paste the photo into a book along with a message or hang the photos up for display. This idea is perfect for couples who want to capture their guests' personalities and candid memories from the wedding day. To make your Polaroid guestbook stand out, you can also consider setting up a photo booth with fun props and backgrounds. This will encourage guests to take even more photos, creating a fun activity to participate in throughout the night.

Audio Guestbook

For a vintage twist on the guestbook tradition, consider setting up an audio guestbook with a classic rotary phone. Guests can simply pick up the phone and leave a recorded message for the Newlyweds to listen to later. This unique and interactive guestbook idea is not only fun for guests, but it also allows you to hear the heartfelt messages from loved ones in their own voices. Plus, the rotary phone adds a touch of nostalgia to the wedding day decor. After the wedding, you can compile the recorded messages onto a record or into a digital audio file to keep as a cherished memory.

Video Guestbook

A video booth is a modern and engaging alternative to a traditional paper guestbook. Not only does it allow guests to leave personalized messages, but it also captures the excitement and energy of the day. The booth can be decorated to match the theme of the wedding and can be set up in a private area to ensure guests feel comfortable and relaxed while recording their messages. After the wedding, you can compile the videos into a short film to relive the memories and emotion of the day.

Message in a Bottle Guestbook

A message in a bottle guestbook is a unique and fun idea and is especially fitting for beach or waterfront weddings. Instead of signing a book, guests can write their messages on small pieces of paper and place them inside a decorative bottle. This guestbook is not only a beautiful decoration but also serves as a keepsake to read the heartfelt messages from your guests. The bottle can be personalized with your names and wedding date, and can even be displayed in your home as a reminder of your special day.

Guestbook Ideas to Incorporate your Hobbies and Interests

Jenga Guestbook

Another fun guestbook idea is the Jenga guestbook. Have guests sign and write messages on wooden Jenga blocks. This interactive guestbook is especially great for couples who want a lighthearted and playful atmosphere at their wedding. The Jenga guestbook also has the added benefit of being a functional game that you can play long after the wedding day is over. Every time you play, you can be reminded of the love and support you received on your wedding day.

Postcard Guestbook

If you and your partner love to travel, a postcard guestbook is a fun and interactive idea. Provide postcards from your favorite destinations for guests to sign. You can also select postcards for locations significant to your relationship like where you first met, where you had your first date, where you got engaged, etc. Have guests put the postcards in a custom mailbox that fits the wedding theme.

Record Guestbook

A record guestbook is perfect for music lovers or couples who want to add a vintage touch to their wedding. Instead of a traditional book, guests sign and write messages on vinyl records that can be displayed in your home for years to come. You can choose your favorite records or ones that have a special meaning to you and your partner, and ask guests to sign with metallic or white markers.

Wine Cork Guestbook

A wine cork guestbook can be an excellent option for couples who love wine or are planning a vineyard wedding. Simply provide a variety of wine corks and markers or pens for guests to sign their names and leave messages on. Once the wedding is over, you can collect all of the signed corks and drop them into a shadow box or wine case.
