Cornwall Wedding Photographer

Unposed, Natural, Relaxed Professional Photography

Hey! I'm Steven. I am a Cornwall Wedding Photographer. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to create a whole story that documents your most important day in the most natural and beautiful way possible. Working on all that the pictures are captured for forever. I will always look to capture your special day naturally and organically, documenting the fun, laughter and happiness as and how it occurs. I cover set up, love, photographs of your big day directing you or your guests. I follow the narrative of the day and capture all of the magical moments.

I love being a wedding photographer in Cornwall. I've been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. Photography has always been a huge passion of mine ever since I was a child.

How to Have a Beach Wedding

Planning to say "I do" by the water? A beach-themed wedding is an excellent choice if you're looking to create a fun, casual atmosphere for your wedding day. Whether your beach wedding aesthetic leans more tropical, classic, or boho, this style is all about effortless, welcoming details that allow the natural beauty of your waterfront venue to shine. Here is everything you need to know about planning a beach-themed wedding.

Your Blueprint to a Perfect Beach Wedding

Imagine standing on a sun-drenched beach with golden sands at your feet and an endless horizon of lapping ocean water before you. As you look into the eyes of your soulmate, surrounded by loved ones, the setting sun paints the sky in shades of orange and pink. It’s a scene of pure romantic bliss, one made easily possible by carefully selecting the right beach wedding package. These all-in-one bundles offer a stress-free way to ensure that every element of your big day, from the venue to the floral arrangements, is taken care of.

Choosing the Right Beach Location

There are plenty of beaches across the country (and the world) that are stunning options for a wedding. When narrowing down your search, you should consider these factors:

  • Think About Accessibility: Ensure your guests can reach the location easily.
  • Seek Privacy: Look for spots that offer a secluded atmosphere.
  • Evaluate Scenic Qualities: Choose a backdrop that matches your aesthetic.
  • Check Local Weather: Be aware of seasonal patterns and climate.

Some of the most popular beach wedding spots in the U.S. include Florida, Cape Cod, Southern California, and Hawaii. If you're considering a destination wedding, Mexico and the Caribbean are filled with luxurious beach resorts and oceanfront venues. Even if you aren’t tying the knot at an oceanfront location, you can still have a beach-themed wedding—especially if your venue is near any other body of water, such as a river or lake.

Logistical Do’s and Don’ts

To ensure everything goes off without a hitch, pay attention to these essential logistics:

  • Secure Necessary Permits
  • Align With Tide Schedules
  • Plan for Setup and Breakdown
  • Have a Contingency Plan

Do you need a permit for a beach wedding? The answer will depend on exactly where you're getting married, but you should err on the side of caution and assume that you will need a permit for your beach wedding. This is especially true for public beaches and parks, while you're less likely to need an additional permit if your wedding venue has a private beach.

Essential Inclusions in Top Beach Wedding Packages

When it comes to planning your dream beach wedding, certain features should never be compromised. First and foremost is the venue, as the location sets the backdrop for your special day. Next, the officiant’s role can’t be underestimated, as this is the person who leads the ceremony and helps to set the emotional tone. Photography is another crucial aspect; your wedding photos are keepsakes you’ll treasure forever, providing a lifelong visual narrative of your special day.

Must-Haves at a Peek:

  • Venue: The foundation of your waterfront aesthetic.
  • Officiant: To lead your ceremony and vows.
  • Photography: Professional captures of your big day.
  • Permits: Legal requirements for your chosen setting.
  • Sound System: For crisp, clear audio during the ceremony.
  • Wedding Coordinator: To ensure the day runs smoothly.

Engagement and Couple Photographer Cornwall

As well as being a wedding photographer in Cornwall I am also a professional couple and engagement photoshoots. I love photographing love! In which I do love having photographed couples for the last 15 years in Cornwall and the rest of the world.

Whether you are a new couple or have been married for 50+ years, a professional couple is a wonderful gift. I have photographed couples of many stages of their relationship.

I always make sure the photoshoots are relaxed, unposed, and fun. Not many people enjoy having their photos taken, including me, which is why I make sure that you are both relaxed and happy during the shoot.

Engagement photoshoots are a great way to get used to the camera before your wedding and are offered as part of my wedding photography.
