When it comes to wedding styles that stand the test of time, boho chic and earthy neutrals continue to captivate hearts year after year. This enduring trend is a testament to its versatility, offering a perfect aesthetic for outdoor garden settings, rustic barn venues, or minimalist indoor celebrations. Rooted in a love for nature and organic elements, boho and neutral wedding flowers effortlessly blend romance and simplicity, creating a serene and elegant ambiance that resonates with couples seeking a timeless yet trendy vibe. The allure of earthy neutral florals lies in their natural beauty and understated charm.
The Essence of the Boho Wedding Style
The bohemian wedding style embodies a free-spirited and nature-inspired aesthetic that feels effortlessly romantic and timeless. At its core, this style is all about breaking away from traditional formalities and focusing on the organic beauty of the moment. Bohemian design celebrates imperfections, emphasizing asymmetry and natural movement to create a look that is uniquely yours. A boho wedding typically draws its color palette from earthy tones that evoke a sense of warmth and connection to the natural world. Shades like taupe, beige, terracotta, soft whites, and dusty pink dominate the aesthetic, creating a cohesive and calming visual effect.
Case Study: Ava and Seth’s Blush Boho Wedding Day
Ava and Seth’s blush, boho wedding was a perfect day — delicate, beautiful, natural, and sweet. It was amazing to see how intentional the two were with every single detail that went into their celebration. Ava and Seth used their family’s property as their wedding venue and anytime a couple gets married on their family’s property there is always an elevated level of love that is surrounding every element of the day. Their family’s property was in Camas, Washington and it was a piece of land that was incredibly green with lots of trees! The natural beauty of the property really made every inch of the design come together even more beautifully.
Ava and Seth had a chic and natural color palette for their wedding florals. They incorporated lots and lots of fluffy pampas, gorgeous white roses, orchids, and additional dried pieces to bring various parts of their day to life. Ava’s bouquet was amazzzzing! It had a bit of a de-constructed shape and featured some of the most gorgeous white roses, orchids, and pops of deep nude and mauve flowers. The tiny touch of color really brought her bouquet to the next level.
Ceremony and Reception Details
Their ceremony was so much fun to create! We built this incredible altar up out of two rectangular metal pillars and the floral was trailing out on either side making their ceremony space look massive! We created sweet little pew markers out of pampas and trickled a light trail of rose petals down the aisle. For their reception, we created a couple of stunning pampas installations that hung at the peaks of the tent over the center of the reception tables. The beautiful white rectangular tables were lined with a delicate rose-colored runner and paired with a lot of natural elements, such as the rattan chargers and beautiful vintage glassware. The newlyweds sat in two massive vintage peacock chairs and looked like the king and queen that they were that day!
