Cornwall Wedding Photographer

Unposed, Natural, Relaxed Professional Photography

Hey! I'm Steven. I am a Cornwall Wedding Photographer. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to create a whole story that documents your most important day in the most natural and beautiful way possible. Working on all that the pictures are captured for forever. I will always look to capture your special day naturally and organically, documenting the fun, laughter and happiness as and how it occurs. I cover set up, love, photographs of your big day directing you or your guests. I follow the narrative of the day and capture all of the magical moments.

Comprehensive Inspiration for Decorating Your Wedding Ceremony Aisle with Flowers

Decorating your wedding ceremony aisle with flowers is a long-held tradition that’s seeing a huge resurgence this year with lush and extravagant displays setting the stage for some seriously gorgeous weddings. Aisle florals are a wonderful way to dress your ceremony space, especially if your venue is a blank canvas or you are getting married outside. Lining the aisle with flowers helps to anchor the ceremony space and elevate the importance of this special moment as you elegantly glide down the aisle to meet your beau. Whether you choose a luxe look with fluffy roses, whimsical wildflowers or simply lots of lush foliage, it’s a great way to add drama to your ceremony space.

Creating a Garden or Meadow Aesthetic

Creating a wonderful garden or meadow feel, flowers are arranged in shallow troughs, so they appear to be growing from the ground as seen here at the Ivy Rose Barn with Beatrice, Juliet, Leonora, Eugenie, Purity, and Edith. For the garden-style aisle, you can focus more on greenery with minimal florals, giving it a really lovely botanic feel. An added bonus is that the aisle can be dismantled after the ceremony and the flowers can be later moved to the reception space and placed by the sweetheart table, cake table, or wherever you wish. For instance, in one extraordinary wedding, the designers created a grassy, flower-lined aisle using abundant arrangements of different florals so it felt like guests were seated within a real garden.

Color Palettes and Style Statements

The florals at your wedding can be a beautiful rainbow of shades. White and green is a classic wedding colour palette that always looks fresh and chic. Here, posies of fluffy white roses, including Leonora, Patience and Purity, are tied to blonde wooden chairs and joined together with garlands of laurel to tie in with the dramatic display of greenery that frames the ceremony space. If you prefer more color, clusters of heavenly pink roses in an ombre effect from soft peachy blush Eugenie to vibrant fuschia Capability makes a serious style statement that we just can’t get enough of. Grouping the roses by colour also cleverly gives the effect of natural rose bushes you would find growing in an English country garden.

David Austin Rose Varieties for Ceremony Aisles

The following table highlights key rose varieties mentioned in the material that are perfect for creating these stunning displays:

Rose VarietyDescription and Color Profile
LeonoraFluffy white roses, perfect for fresh and chic palettes.
EugenieSoft peachy blush roses used in ombre effects.
CapabilityVibrant fuschia roses for serious style statements.
Patience & PurityClassic ivory and white roses for elegant displays.
Beatrice & EdithLuxe roses ideal for a garden or meadow feel.

Alternative and Organic Aisle Designs

Combining woodland floral designs with candles makes a magical display that’s just perfect for creating an intimate atmosphere for indoor or early evening outdoor weddings. Key elements to create this look include moss, bare branches and glass vases for the candles. What could be more romantic than walking down the aisle, towards an arc filled with roses, wildflowers and twinkling candles? Furthermore, decorating a garden party wedding ceremony doesn’t have to be all about flowers; more organic arrangements can be the best way to create that secret garden feel. Stone urns overflowing with white roses can also mark the entrance, providing an effect that is elegantly grand.

Functional and Timeless Details

Your ceremony décor can be a lovely feature even when the sun goes down, so consider lighting it and making it a focal point. You can also explore the timeless elegance of a round rose bridal bouquet that blends romance, texture and fragrance for your perfect wedding day. From a towering statement floral arch where the couple exchanges vows to a semi-circle of flowers and greenery, these elements complement the garden’s beauty and take the romance factor to the next level.
