Spectacular Wedding Venues and Celebrations in Huntington, Long Island
Lauren and Brian’s wedding took my team to Long Island and the Huntington Crescent Club. I love Long Island for the same reasons that make the estates of Northern New Jersey such great wedding venues – the mature landscape, particularly at the full height of summer after thunderstorms have left everything lush and green, makes for a spectacular backdrop to wedding photographs!
Elegant Summer Wedding at Huntington Crescent Club
Lauren and Brian are a super-fun couple, and their day wasn’t all high-drama, despite the awesome display the weather put on or the elegant venue. As you scroll through the photographs, you’ll see all the hallmarks of an elegant wedding day – beautiful jewelry and clothes, pure white flowers, Dom Perignon Champagne, and then…boom…Bud Light! Lauren and Brian met through a friend during college (they went to different schools), and they got engaged on the beach during a gale. Their silhouetted portrait against the final rays cast by a perfect sunset is one of my all-time favorites!

The Harbor Club at Prime, with its stunning waterfront views, elegant décor, and impeccable service, provided the perfect backdrop for this couple's special day. The ceremony took place on the Harbor Club's picturesque lawn overlooking the water. As Jacqueline walked down the aisle, her eyes met Michael's, and the world seemed to melt away. Their vows were heartfelt and personal, a testament to the deep connection they share.

Oheka Castle is a prized jewel of historic hotels on Long Island. This luxurious, chateau-style estate is surrounded by gorgeous gardens making for picture-perfect portraits. Nichole and Michael were married on September 30th, with a ceremony and reception at the Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York. Even though rain is one of those things that no one really wants on their wedding day, to say that the clouds passing over Oheka that day were dramatic would be an understatement. Nichole looked stunning in her Monique Lhuillier wedding gown—elegant and soft, complementing the atmosphere of the wedding perfectly.
In another beautiful celebration, Caroline and Jonathan had a stunning September wedding at Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York. After getting ready in the magnificent suites, especially the bridal suite which overlooks the impeccably manicured gardens, the pair were married in a Roman Catholic ceremony at the Church of St. Patrick in Huntington. Between the tree-lined entrance, chateau estate backdrop, and the gardens, there were endless locations to capture portraits at Oheka.
