I'm a calming presence, here for you from the beginning to end of your wedding. I'm on your team and want this day to be just as incredible as you imagined it.

We love creating a time for you to relax and just enjoy being together because we believe in the importance of unplugging. This results in more than just classic portraits, but a set of memories to look back on and see the real and raw joy, love, and laughter that filled each moment. Nearly 100 amazing couples have entrusted me to photograph their wedding and capture the memories that will remind them of their wedding day forever. I know how to put you at ease if you're nervous about having photos taken and I'm there to help every step of the way.
At almost every wedding and engagement that we photograph, every couple always says they are super awkward in front of the camera and/or have no experience. Which is understandable! But you would be amazed at what a little guidance with posing will help you do, and my couples quickly grow in confidence and that love and feeling you have for your fiance will absolutely shine through.
Wedding Collections and Investment
Keeping it simple, all collections include a full gallery of professionally edited images telling the story of your day (avg. of 100 images/hour) with a full print release, as well as a personalized print store linked to your gallery. I offer consultation meetings and calls to help with planning your timeline, as well as access to my full wedding guide with over 70 pages of helpful tips.

Expertise in Northern Michigan and Beyond
We shoot around 35 weddings a year, so if you are worried about lighting at your venue, or a crazy idea you may have, chances are we've covered it or if not, we are well equipped and experienced to handle wild ideas! Most shoots are on-location shot in natural light (you can’t beat the best backdrop of all, outdoor nature!), depending on season/weather. Rockhill Studio, based in Traverse City, MI, services the Upper Peninsula and Northern Michigan along with all of the downstate areas including Marquette, Grand Rapids, and Mackinac Island.
