Hey! I'm Steven. I am a Cornwall Wedding Photographer. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to create a whole story that documents your most important day in the most natural and beautiful way possible. Working on all that the pictures are captured for forever. I will always look to capture your special day naturally and organically, documenting the fun, laughter and happiness as and how it occurs. I cover set up, love, photographs of your big day directing you or your guests. I follow the narrative of the day and capture all of the magical moments.

I love being a wedding photographer in Cornwall. I've been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. Photography has always been a huge passion of mine ever since I was a child.

I grew up in Cornwall but have enjoyed travelling the world as much as possible since my early 20s. Not only do I love photographing weddings in Cornwall, I've never been lucky enough to capture couples special days all over the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

Corpus Christi Wedding Photographer: Capturing Genuine and Timeless Love Stories

When I first thought about what I wanted my brand to be centered around the words "genuine, joyful and true to life" came to mind. I've built my business on those principles: being real and genuine with my clients and taking a true and joyful intrigue in their love story. My goal is creating timeless, true-to-life photographs that re-tell moments as they happen, making space for memories to be made, full of laughter and love. This is the Danni Lea Photo experience! A photographer who is genuinely, passionately invested in telling your story, not just as a career, but because I know to the core of my soul how much these memories mean.

The Story of a Corpus Christi Bride: Destrianna and Logan

Destrianna never thought she’d be a Corpus Christi bride as the result of downloading Tinder. She actually found the idea of finding lasting love by “swiping right” a bit ridiculous. However, even after Destrianna girlishly swiped right on Logan’s profile, she still didn’t think much about it. But when he messaged back a few days later and their message thread carried out over a few weeks, she started to think about all the possibilities.

Destrianna and Logan first met in 2016. After that meeting, she confessed to one of her best friends that she’d marry him and become a Corpus Christi bride—even though they weren’t even dating yet. But the wait was not long, they started dating in 2017. They dated for four years when Logan popped the question.

A Chivalrous Proposal at The Art Museum of South Texas

On March 28, 2021, Destrianna was turning 27 years old. They had planned to take portraits on the staircase of The Art Museum of South Texas, but the doors were locked. So they tried the other side where there is a cute little grassy area and lamp posts. The photographer directed the couple to a few different poses and then moved Logan back a little behind Destrianna—you know, for one of those shots where one person is in focus and the other one is not? All the while, the photographer was taking shots and still offering posing direction when she finally asked, “Destrianna, can you turn around for me?” And there he was—Logan, on a chivalrous knee.

Destrianna was super surprised and didn’t know what to say at first. She was even more shocked to learn that her family had been in on the plan. After pictures and the proposal were finished, she was relieved to walk into their house and find everyone they cared about the most in the entire world waiting to celebrate with them. Destrianna loves this moment because Logan put so much thought into it, and she got to do all this with the people she loves most.

The All-Inclusive Wedding at Strawberry Pines

They had the most romantic all-inclusive wedding on October 23, 2021 at Strawberry Pines—a real working ranch wedding venue—in Poteet, Texas. Basically, all Destrianna and Logan had to do was grab her dress and his suit and head north to just south of San Antonio to recite their marriage vows. Almost everything was pre-arranged for them. They pretty much just showed up and said, “I do.” There was no stress to becoming a Corpus Christi bride.

As well as being a wedding photographer in Cornwall I am also a professional couple and engagement photoshoots. I love photographing love! In which I do love having photographed couples for the last 15 years in Cornwall and the rest of the world.

Whether you are a new couple or have been married for 50+ years, a professional couple is a wonderful gift. I have photographed couples of many stages of their relationship.

I always make sure the photoshoots are relaxed, unposed, and fun. Not many people enjoy having their photos taken, including me, which is why I make sure that you are both relaxed and happy during the shoot.

Engagement photoshoots are a great way to get used to the camera before your wedding and are offered as part of my wedding photography.
