Cornwall Wedding Photographer

Unposed, Natural, Relaxed Professional Photography

Hey! I'm Steven. I am a Cornwall Wedding Photographer. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to create a whole story that documents your most important day in the most natural and beautiful way possible. Working on all that the pictures are captured for forever. I will always look to capture your special day naturally and organically, documenting the fun, laughter and happiness as and how it occurs. I cover set up, love, photographs of your big day directing you or your guests. I follow the narrative of the day and capture all of the magical moments.

Wedding Photography Questionnaire Guide for Photographers and Couples

Every wedding photography client is different, and they all have different plans for their wedding photos. Therefore, as a wedding photographer, understanding your clients and what they expect from you is essential for your game plan. You may not have all the answers after you meet them. If you find yourself in that situation, a wedding photography questionnaire may be able to provide some insight.

Why using a questionnaire is a good idea?

No matter how long we’ve been in the wedding industry—there are certain methods we should apply to our business. One of these methods is creating and distributing wedding photography questionnaires. This user-friendly questionnaire should be an essential component of workflow, enabling us to learn more about the couple, the event, and our client’s expectations. We can see clients’ ideal wedding through their eyes and discover what’s at the top of your list of must-have photographs and what’s most important by asking them to fill out a questionnaire specific to wedding photography.

The Benefits of a Structured Approach

  • Create simple schedules and timelines: Creating wedding day timelines and scheduling portraits for clients will be easier if we have all of your firm times for the day listed in one place.
  • Save time: Spend a few minutes writing down the questions we need to get the information we need to photograph a wedding and reduce the amount of time both we and our clients have to spend on the process.
  • Reduces errors: When all information including shot list and important information etc. is given in advance, we’ll know all the shots they need on their wedding day that may not already be on our general shot list.
  • Relieves stress: Because we are organized and proactive and clients know that we have planned every detail for the day, they will feel much less stressed and worry-free knowing that everything is in capable hands.

What types of questions should a wedding photographer ask?

Each wedding photographer customizes their questionnaire based on their personal experience and the elements they feel are important. When creating this questionnaire, try to cover as much about your couple as possible while keeping your questions short and easy to understand. While there are no hard and fast rules for what you should ask couples, we provide you with some ideas for possible questions to include:

CategoryQuestion Details
Personal InformationThe customer’s name, his/her parent’s name; Provide a list of your bridal party by name and role.
LogisticsWhere are the bride and groom getting ready? (include address); Please list the event address and reception venue.
ScheduleWhen will the bride’s hair and makeup begin? How long will the event last?
Ceremony & ReceptionDo you do any special or religious ceremony? Will you have any special dances?
Photography DetailsAre there any photography ideas or details I should know?

Using and Customizing Templates

If you’re a wedding photographer, use this questionnaire template to get all the info you need for the requested job. Our pre-built wedding photography questionnaire is very complex. It already includes fields to request all kinds of information, regarding the ceremony location, time table, and key people to contact. Also, it makes sure you’ll respect the style and sensitivities of the people involved, so everything will run smoothly.

Customization and Publishing

You can collect your clients information and special wishes for the photo coverage of their wedding using a stylish and elegant wedding photography questionnaire template. It features text and elements that are fully editable – everything you see can be clicked, moved, and typed in. While you can easily send the form link via email to the newlyweds, we provide many other publishing options. For instance, make your form permanently available on your photography website by embedding it in the page code. In a busy, mobile-dependent world, your customers will surely be able to fill the survey form on mobile as well, due to its mobile-friendly nature.

Engagement and Couple Photographer Cornwall

As well as being a wedding photographer in Cornwall I am also a professional couple and engagement photoshoots. I love photographing love! In which I do love having photographed couples for the last 15 years in Cornwall and the rest of the world.

Whether you are a new couple or have been married for 50+ years, a professional couple is a wonderful gift. I have photographed couples of many stages of their relationship.

I always make sure the photoshoots are relaxed, unposed, and fun. Not many people enjoy having their photos taken, including me, which is why I make sure that you are both relaxed and happy during the shoot.

Engagement photoshoots are a great way to get used to the camera before your wedding and are offered as part of my wedding photography.
