Hey! I'm Steven. I am a Cornwall Wedding Photographer. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to create a whole story that documents your most important day in the most natural and beautiful way possible. Working on all that the pictures are captured for forever. I will always look to capture your special day naturally and organically, documenting the fun, laughter and happiness as and how it occurs. I cover set up, love, photographs of your big day directing you or your guests. I follow the narrative of the day and capture all of the magical moments.

I love being a wedding photographer in Cornwall. I've been professionally photographing weddings since 2004 and have captured hundreds of happy couples. Before I was a wedding photographer I was a professional music photographer working worldwide with big acts. Photography has always been a huge passion of mine ever since I was a child.

I grew up in Cornwall but have enjoyed travelling the world as much as possible since my early 20s. Not only do I love photographing weddings in Cornwall, I've never been lucky enough to capture couples special days all over the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

As a destination and elopement wedding photographer, Heather needed a brand that reflected her style, and a system that supported her business behind the scenes. I helped build both. I led the full branding, web development, and digital strategy effort—balancing creative direction with business automation. To achieve this, it was necessary to address the fact that Heather was juggling tools that didn’t talk to each other—no centralized CRM, no e-commerce, and no automation.

Key work included designing and developing a custom WordPress website, responsive across all devices and tailored to highlight her portfolio and client journey. She needed a professional online presence that made her booking process seamless, streamlined her workload, and showcased her work with clarity and heart. To facilitate this, the project involved:

  • Creating her full brand identity: This included logo design and visual style that reflected her adventurous, romantic approach to wedding photography.
  • Implementing a CRM: Giving her a central place for managing inquiries, contracts, payments, and communication.
  • Integrating the CRM with her CMS: So that booking, contact forms, and project updates were synced and automated.
  • Adding e-commerce functionality: Including QuickBooks integration for online booking, invoicing, and financial tracking.
  • Advising on SEO and web content strategy: To improve organic discovery and conversions.
  • Implementing AI into her workflow: Helping automate client comms, scheduling, and more—freeing up time to focus on creative work.

The critical first step to building a successful website: Know your specialty. In other words, what do you want your business to be known for? Once established, you must choose photos that are consistent with your specialty. If you don’t tighten up the visuals—especially on your home page—then your website visitors won’t be able to tell what you do best and whether or not you’re perfect for them.

The Role of Color and Typography

The easiest way to make a website look professionally designed: Determine a color scheme & stick to it. This is what makes a website look expensive and thoughtfully put-together! On a well-designed site, you can see how there’s a very clear color palette that each photo adheres to. For example, soft neutrals, greens, and pinks often create an airy quality.

Furthermore, you should pick just 1-3 fonts that match the vibe. You don’t want too many fonts, because that can look cluttered or unpolished. You just need a couple that support the overall atmosphere you want to create. Remember, you can always italicize or bold certain lines of text to create some differentiation!
